*The French version follows below*

*LEEMA project: Online survey about requirements of insulation materials
and building insulation masonry components*

The ACE is currently involved in 4 EU funded projects. These projects cover a wide range of issues related to energy efficient renovation, sustainable buildings and heritage conservation. Architects around Europe can benefit from this involvement, making the best of the projects outcomes. Very useful reports are regularly uploaded on the relevant project websites, whereas events and workshops are organised for the coming months. Moreover, the effort to mobilise the ACE network continues and the contribution of architects with relevant knowledge and experience to share is highly appreciated.

In this context you are invited to respond an online survey about "Requirements of insulation materials and building insulation masonry components" http://www.ace-cae.eu/index.php?id=418&rid=t_11573&mid=75&aC=9ebb3800&jumpurl=1 .
The information you provide will greatly assist the LEEMA project in
developing specifications of novel insulation materials and building
masonry components that meet your requirements. The questionnaire will be available until *15 November*.* It would be highly appreciated, if you can forward the information to your members and motivate them to participate in the online survey.*

The LEEMA project develops novel, inorganic insulation materials and
building-insulation masonry components. These are loose filling materials, insulation boards and insulated bricks. The developed materials will have significantly lower embodied energy (by 70-90%) and a lower unit cost (by 25-30%) compared to commonly used insulation materials. For more information on the project visit http://www.leema.eu

http://www.ace-cae.eu/index.php?id=418&rid=t_11573&mid=75&aC=9ebb3800&jumpurl=3 .
